Turner did OK today apart from the mix-up with Marshall.

He kept Long very quiet and won everything that came near him.

I'm not surprised with out fans getting on our players' backs. Look at Whittingham today, yes he hit out of a few tackles, but some of the abuse he took was un-called for. You would have thought he had killed someone the amount of stick he got. I just don't get why we need to get on our players backs. I thought the whole point of being a 'supporter' was to support?

That's fair enough, I just don't get it. Makes no sense to me. We need to give our players the best possible platform to perform not make them anxious.

Turner is a great defender wins everything that comes near him, but terrible when in possession. But:

5 Clean sheets. More than Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, WBA

He was joint best player on the park according to Fantasy Premier League stats, got 3 bonus points today (wont mean anything to most mind). Caulker by the way is now ranked the 8th best defender in the league on FPL
