Sam and Annis

Annis - forget any background or your understandable loyalty, one simple fact - and one only- whilst Sam was Chairman, we were saved JUST in the High Court from liquidation because of huge debts he incurred as the custodian of the club and he was willing for this to happen. FACT. And for this ONE fact alone he should and deserves to be regarded as unwelcome at the club. End of :ayatollah:

Brez,You forget one thing.
Although Sam made some big mistakes whilst at the helm, had he not stepped in initially we would've possibly folded a lot sooner...

i have always believed Cardiff had huge potential, and were the sleeping giant that had been once often been mentioned, after decades of under investment, Sam came along, he saw what id seen, he believed in our club, the city, and us as a people. his crime was to believe TOO much. JUST like Tan , it was HIS money loaned to the club and who wouldnt want a loan repayed?
if at some point Tan wanted out...........couldnt find a buyer..what do you think might happen?..do you think HE would just forget the 100 odd million..i doubt it.
one thing is for sure, the day he arrived, he started a chain of events that changed our club forever, our profile rose beyond recognition ,new stadium, better players, higher league positions, we became a real football club that the likes of VT { love him or loathe him } desired.........the promotions, play offs, cup finals, would never have happened without his arrival and wouldnt have happened without him gambling either.........he will always be welcome as far as i am concerned

I think you will find it was ridsdale who was chairman when the hmrc were trying to liquidate us although as like you I believe Sam started that particular ball rolling
