Ashley Barnes: Bring Conway back

Craig Conway: Has impressed during loan spell at Brighton
Ashley Barnes hopes Saturday's game at Middlesbrough will not be the last time Craig Conway dons a Brighton & Hove Albion shirt.
Conway is due back at parent employers Cardiff City when his short-term loan agreement comes to a close.
The Scotland international has impressed during his time with the Seagulls and would appear to remain some way down the pecking order at Cardiff.
That means there could be a deal to be done in January, when the transfer window re-opens.
Barnes would like to see Conway brought back to the Amex Stadium, with the tricky winger having helped him to maintain his recent fine run of form.
He told The Argus: "Craig is a fantastic player.
"He has got great quality. He was at Cardiff and they didn't sign him for no reason. They got promoted and he was a big part of that last season.
"It would be great if he could stay but obviously it's about what he wants and what the clubs want."
Brighton's assistant head coach Nathan Jones has hinted that the issue of Conway's future will be addressed in the New Year.
He said: "He has got better in terms of productivity as his loan goes on and that is normal.
"It's sad he has got to go back because we would like to keep him but hopefully, God willing, it won't be the last we see of Craig Conway."

Come back mate, you're wanted here unlike some on here.

Annis mate, he is quality and is a real handful and has been turning the opposition defence inside out. Such an influenstion player to our squad that we tick nicely with him and we have a nice balance within the squad.
Thought he might of been given the chance in the premiership with you as he was part on you winning promotion.

Pat, it goes back to a few days before our Carling Cup Final with Liverpool, Malky and Craig Conway had a massive argument and its never been the same since, Malky hardly played him last season and when he did Conway shined, I agree he is quality

Problems with mangers and players then I've heard that before. Poyet. Sometimes managers should bite their tounge and do whats right for the team and fans and not selfish stubbornness where the manager views come more important than the team and fans.
look at Rooney the granny shagger at UTD where Alex dropped him but now is on fire. Differences should be set aside for the team and fan sake.

I thought he would be a definite starter for us this season, I've had my complaints about him in the past but he deserved a crack at the Premier League. He has to be a better option than what we have at the moment down the flanks.

Have to say i was one who thought keeping smith for his experience was the better idea. Not sure i was right on that.

Not sure if Conway is good enough for this level, however he'd offer more than Smith who really should have been shipped out in the summer and can't do much worse than the other wide players who've had their chance this year.
This position HAS to be a priority for Malky in Jan.
