Doh!

Tue Dec 10, 2013 11:11 pm

So let's get this right. Malky delivers the dream of Premiership football. A full house among fantastic scenes and exultant celebration in a capacity crowd. Most of our squad remain- hence a big step up. We have played teams worth serious money and competed with pride and no little desire and skill. We have not been in the bottom three. And yet he gets pelters for not getting the results some would like and a style of play they would like in an ideal world. Does my head in. I have been supporting the City since 1966 and seen some awful matches in dire weather. We have never had it so good. Get real and support the manager and club through good times and tough times. A young manager learning his trade with wholehearted players doing their best. Doh! :ayatollah:

.

Football is a results business and it is judged on the here and now, not what has been and gone.

In your case though Tan needs to sell his brand he has created. In order to do that he needs a club with attractive prospects for investers. There is nothing attractive about a Malky Mackay side, the really isnt. The sooner you guys realise Tan and the supporters deem success differently the better.

You guys want to have a team to be proud of who are competing, and he wants a side that is marketable regardless of on field success. If he could make twice as much by getting relegated - he would. Money is his motivation not football.

so Malky, armed with a transfer budget of 10 million delivers the dream thats 9.6 million more than our previous manager had in his final year, and double what he spent over his 6 years... we won promotion in front of a full house obviously, most of our team were with us last year, incredible seeing as he spent a record amount for a newly promoted side, doubling the previous record of wolves 16-6 million, the players have certainly not been short of effort or pride and have as you say competed with teams worth serious money but against lesser teams including the 2 promoted with us who both spent a fraction of what we did both this year and last we have looked poor, its not this style people dont like because there is no style,as for results,to lose is one thing to throw the towel in and not even try to win is another.....ive seen some pretty awful teams and managers in my time, years of no investment, we lost because we were not good enough,or poor management, and NOT because we didnt try to win i accept its all we could afford...get real, yes, i want Malky to win Saturday because he is our manager,he wins we win,HE wants to get real and want to win too, this club is not the place to learn a trade, its a capital city club in the premiership, this notion that we are some sort of YTS scheme for managers does my head in. Cardiff City 1st,Cardiff City 2nd, Cardiff City 3rd. . no agenda or man including Malky should be ahead of whats best for the club
