O/T Banking/Debit Card

Anyone know what the limit is for a purchase with a debit card? Not cash withdrawal, a straight card purchase.

Depends on your bank and how vigilant they watch large purchases. I purchased a car for 43k and they never even checked. Was actually shocked, although it seems not shocked enough as I still bank with hsbc.

there is no limit so long as cleared funds are available. you may need to do additional security checks however
