Malky grateful for VT?

Tue Dec 10, 2013 9:58 pm

The way fans are so disgruntled with VT is his stance on Malky leading to support for Malky in defiance of VT?

I honestly think if were in blue with no of field issues and with the amount of money that was made available then fans would be more vocal against Malky in relation to the style of play and results?

I honestly thought MM would have gone in the summer after promotion as i always had impression VT was never convinced.

i dont think people realise just how big Malkys budget was........he had an enormous amount of faith given to him. biggest budget EVER for a newly promoted club..........the previous was 16 million by wolves......we doubled it and more

I think a few people are doing it both ways, some supporting Malky to have a dig at Tan and some against Tan "against" Malky.

One thing is for sure on current form it certainly worth debating.

Now being played in the media.

Quite obvious that MM statement on bringing players in would get fans hopes up and cover form to date. VT still bristling over summer spending sees this comment made without board backing and reacts.

Maybe we're in the middle of a compo struggle and WBA job available Malky fancies with going with a severance to boot?

If Malky has said this without board backing after the Moody stuff then he is green or edging for an out.

Just a thought/theory.

i was wrong about Wolves, Southampton did spend more at start of last season 28MILLION.....still way short of whatever figure you want to atribute to Malky be it 35mil or 50mil the later being the figure mentioned of late

Southampton did spend the most least season.

Southampton also got rid of a "good" championship manager who was teetering on brink of relegation at Christmas for a progressive manager who's used the majority of same squad to catapult them upto top 8 of premier league......

I certainly wouldn't mind copying this footprint!

Still stand by this but think today is end for MM.

I like the guy but his most die hard fan surely accepts his style of play and tactics.
