Tue Dec 10, 2013 6:01 pm

Does anyone know how I can use my iPod in a car? Is there any sort of lead I need to plug into the cigarette lighter or something?

You can get like radio frequency transmitter ones which is what I got. You plug it into the bottom of your ipod/ iphone etc and pick a frequency not used in your area (e.g. 87.6) and then tune one of your radio channels to the same frequency and it works a treat. Its good.

Apparently they lose signal a lot? If not I'll probably get one of those

i found those fm transmitter things a pain in the arse. Ok in mid wales where there wasnt much in the way of fm radio stations but in the urban areas i found any fm station would take over the signal and i had to keep changing frequency. Personally if your car aint got an aux socket id revert to headphones!

I use my iPhone with an aux lead, then control it with my pebble watch!

Means I dont have to touch my phone then!
