Just a question

Tue Dec 10, 2013 10:50 am

If Malky were to stick with the same squad and system on saturday and we managed to beat west brom 3/4-0 how many who are calling for malky to be sacked will be singing the malky song?

Like a number of people have already stated, every cardiff fan said before the season started we would take 17th at the end of the season, and I know some of the recent peformances havent been great but Malky and the team have proved that this system can get results and potentially keep us in this league.

So lets keep the faith and get behind Malky and the team :malky: :malky:

I'll never sing the Malky song, not because I don't want him to be our manager, but because I don't think it shows any support for the players.

i am probably alone then in thinking 17th isnt good enough.

Would i be happy with it? of course, as its another season in the top league, but i think we would have underachieved.

Anyway, do you honestly believe we can win 3 or 4 nil with the same tactics currently employed?

i live in hope, but i think it will take one or two changes.

Yes I do feel that 17th is good enough, this is a tough league and I believe if we manage to stay up it will still take 2-3 seasons before we have a team that will not be invloved in a relagation battle.

If I'm honest no I honestly don't think we will ever win a game 3 or 4-0 with the tactics we are using and I agree that we need to have 2 upfront because I dont think the tactics being used is the way forward. Having said all that I am not calling for Malky to be sacked because he hasnt decided to make changes yet. If peformances and results continue I am confident in saying that Malky will make the changes required to turn performances around.

Not be funny but what makes you think you should finish any higher? The arrogance by some on here is spectacular

largely due to the huge amounts of money spend and history of championship sides in the premier league recently

i dont think we'll beat WBA....steve clarke is a good manager with lots of premiership experience.

West Brom are on the slide but imho have been unlucky, they have had lots of shots on target and had a bad day when norwich visited them.....they will be up for this one and will be no 3-4 goals walkover.

What because after 2 years of relative safety and squad strengthening in the summer the average jack hopes to finish mid table again and have one cup run. Extreme arrogance that. Feck me you lot went over half a f*cking century without playing a top flight game and you seem to expect miracles. Whilst many seem to totally underestimate the strength of the pl. Probably because to acknowledged how tough a league it is would be a back handed compliment to us gypos from the fishing village way out west.

3 or 4-0 was hyperthetical situation.

And to be honest everyone having a go at the Jack and he is talking more sense than most on this thread. We have come into a division where the opposition have a lot more talent and experience through out their squad and people think we can just turn up at places like palace and walk away with 3 points!!

Like I said earlier, I am frustrated with some of the tactics that Malky has implemented but not once this season have we entered the bottom three. If and I mean IF we beat west brom on saturday everyone will be saying how good malky is and what ever.

Just remember last season when I went to palace we were 2-0 up and lost the game 3-2!! it is a tough place to go especially when they have just found some form under a new manager

are west brom going to take pot shots at their own goal? because if he sticks with Saturdays system against palace, how else do we score 4?

Not a chance, I'm not fickle. My stance on Malky has been the same since our dire showing at home to Newcastle. He has since beaten Swansea and drew with United so a win against WBA wouldn't make me act like he is the second coming (like some fans act on this board)
