Neither are quick but turner might edge it

Turner for me. Neither great but Turner has been reasonable for most games with the exception of Palace. His distribution is dire but he's not getting enough help from midfield. Hudson would be caught out too easy at Prem level

Even- though Turner is quicker Hudson reads the game better,he tends to cut out the play before it becomes dangerous,Medel would have to be on his toes to sweep up,also Hudson leads by example

Vik you have a fair point re. Hudson reading the game better, I accept that. However, couldn't we settle the argument by bringing Barnett back instead of either of them?

neither, time for change. play medel at cb as he plays there for chilie. caulker can be man marker medel can play ball out. no need for the hoof

That's a fair point but the PL is so different from international football & South American football.
I think there would be too many times when he would get isolated against the bigger strikers in the air. Teams would target him & as we've seen, he can't jump!

Both are awful. unless they have a blinder give 100% they are a risk to our team.
in the premier league you need players who can put in a shift on a bad day, like caulker.
when huds and turner have a off day we get hammered simple as that
these 2 cant

Caulker and medel would be world class.
if we could bring in 2 quality midfielders we could do this

Hudson has no pace but he makes up for it by reading the game well.He was player of the year last year and see no reason why he would not fit in with a player like caulker alongside him.
the people who have had a go at turner....and his hoof ball should also remember....sides playing against us work out he is the least comfortable on the ball and close him down quickly.....our midfield are doing so much running in defence that they ease off and have a breather when we have the ball.....our midfield are not moving...or calling for the ball and when turner gets closed down.....he plays it up to our lone 5 foot 11 striker.....and gets hammered for it......its not all about turner.Everyone moans about the jacks back 4 passing it back and fore for ten passes but sometimes it stops the other teams desire to press you at the back.

Out of the 2, I'd personally say Hudson. Calamity Turner hoofs the ball every chance he gets and the majority of the time it goes to the opposition defenders which is very very frustrating to watch. Yes, he makes a few good interceptions but so does every centre back in this league.
It is clear for all of us to see that Malky needs to bring in a top class centre back to partner Caulker in the back. Medel can't drop into the CB role, our formation is worked around Malky and alot of our attacks start with Medel who drops back as a 5th defender some times anyway.
We need 1 CB, a LM and a ST during the next transfer window... If Campbell gets injured, we only have Cornelius to look too, POW is better on the wing and Maynard clearly isn't good enough for this level (harsh but true)
