The ref must have been in on it with him at Ipswich last season after failing to give that hand ball.

Why any footballer at the high end of professional football would want to get involved in stuff like this is beyond me. Surely they get payed enough as it is without having to resort to any kind of betting scams match fixing etc.

I reckon joe harts involved.
his drop in form doesnt add up and something just seems odd

he loves his betting I honestly think the 1st game of this season against man city was match fixed.
everyone of our goals were sloppy, defenders just stood still and let campbell have a free header

Maybe fulham also they have far better players

Could this be tip of the iceberg. ..
Hopefully no city players involved.... the only person that comes to mind. Would be a ex player that loves his betting and beer ... hope not what a legend at City. ....

All that money... and still greedy bastards want more.....

Really he must have surely been on 15/20k a week. About a month wage most likely to risk your entire career and potential prison?

For all the millions and millions (and millions) of pounds the City players earn a year I highly doubt any of them would throw a game.

If Joe Hart has been taking money to fix games it will cost him in the long run because by the looks of things he's leaving this January and no one will pay the wages he's currently on! We beat them fair and square that day, Kompany would have made the difference though.

Too much money involved in football these days for it to be clean

If found guilty all those involved should be given a life ban from anything to do with football. Playing, coaching or management, they should have no involvement with football whatsoever. It might just send out a message to anyone else who might contemplate such things.

He's just come out and said that he denies all charges and that he is 100% focused on saturdays 1-1 draw with Millwall.

At least we know now why football players take their shirts off after scoring. Could never understand it as they knew they would get booked, all falling into place now.

DJ Cambell has released a statement.

He says he is still confident of playing in this weekends 1-1 draw with Millwall.
