Unfortunately your love child Whittingham has been having a few poor games recently which hasn't helped the team, our tactics or Malky Mackay at all. With Medel holding and Mutch driving forwards to support Campbell, Whittingham is expected to at worst, make himself available to receive the ball and keep possession, but he isn't even doing that at the moment! Unfortunately at Palace, Medel had very little options, resulting in him having to pass backwards or sideways resulting in us continuously hitting it long with the anonymous Whittingham not making himself available. Maybe Whittingham's confidence is low and he's hiding, his set piece deliveries have been abysmal lately and the game seems to be passing him by at the moment. Time for Whittingham to be rested I'm afraid as he is a passenger in our midfield at the moment.
