FAO: People who want Malky out

Sun Dec 08, 2013 2:20 pm

If you were a Man Utd fan in 1989 would you have wanted Ferguson out before that FA goal which Mark Robbins scored against Forest in 1989 which many people believed that saved Fergusons career at Utd.

or

If you were an Everton fan in 1984 when Adrian Heath scored the League cup goal against Oxford which many say was the turning point for Howard Kendells ruin as Everton manager.

However maybe most of you are too young to remember and don't understand the point I am trying to make so Iam trying to explain that sacking managers just because things are getting tough at the moment isn't the way unless you've only ever known modern football.

Why is it new age fans that want MM gone? Im not a new age fan but as I said, the club is bigger than him and he will take us down. If I thought he would change Id love him to succeed but im convinced he wont.

So what if we go down..? It wont be the be all and end all just look at how West Brom used that mentality to their benefit. New age fans dont have patience with managers

I don't think that many really want him out. Just an acceptance that yesterday was dire (Not publicly) and we put it right on Saturday.

Excatly if he come out and said what everyone thought of yesterdays performance then people would have been saying that he should have kept certain comments in the changing room!!! The man cant do right from doing wrong!!!

Many have been through relegations but the fact of the matter is that 3 teams have to be relegated at the end of the season but if we are one of those teams come the end of the season its how the clubs reacts to that which will be interesting to see.

Id rather go down fighting than like we are at moment.

If Malky stays and keeps us up Id happily apologise and say Im wrong.

I dont think that will happen.

Football is all about opinions of course but history shows the best managers are supported by their boards through the good and bad times on the pitch

I think hes doing the best with what he's got. Personally I dont think he rates the big dane so one up top with a packed midfield is the next best option with the players he has

And who's fault is it that he has those players??? He chose them, its his team.

Not every player which is signed will turn out to work. Even Ferguson at one point was seen to be going through Keepers every other week shortly after Schemiechel left and some of them cost a fortune at the time.

the problem is the managers tactics are wrong, results show that...i dont think malky should go yet,but we simply have to win games, and if he cant set out a team to do that(with a massive purse that he had)then he has to make way
