Opposition Tactics

Sun Dec 08, 2013 3:05 am

Having watched the last few games, it seems quite obvious that teams are playing off Turner. When we have the back, they try to ensure he receives it, as they know they have a better chance getting it back. When they have possession, they again target him.

Lets not all think replacing him will sort it out out, cause it wont! but it may be a start

Its something I mentioned a few weeks back. They pressure our back four except Turner, he just hoofs it back to them.

Ironically this is what teams used to do to Hudson.

We need more width to create space to pass the ball into - and players who really WANT the ball. Too many hiding yesterday.
