" AWFUL, TERRIBLE, CLUELESS, NO DESIRE 'BUT' . . . . "

AWFUL, TERRIBLE, CLUELESS, NO DESIRE BUT . . . .

Yes today we were all of the above, we could have scored in the first minute and who would have known what would have happened if we had.

I am lost for words and we did look clueless today but are some of these players good enough, today I believe Malky got it totally wrong but I also believe Malky felt let down by his team the way Malky stormed off at the end.

I am not going to single out any one player for criticism as I feel they all let Malky and the fans down today.

BUT am I going to turn on Malky ? No.

I still believe 100% in Malky and still believe he can do the job, I also believe now is not the time to turn on Malky and the team at matches, it was sad to hear some of our fans boo at the end because if they think that was bad they never went to Rochdale away and Carlisle.

I was told by a couple of players the camp was down this week and it looked that way today.

I am on the coach now and yes like I said I am speechless but the whole coach is sat in silence.

I will say it again, support Malky and he deserves our support this season no matter what, he took us up and he'll keep us up.

Annis, its Malky's tactics that are causing this. Just because he's good with the fans cannot detract from the fact his style of play is useless.

If he cant learn that hitting long balls to a 5"10 striker is pointless then there really is no hope.

we were so poor today , Palace made us look like a league below them. So many of our passes went out of touch , this was our worst performance of the season imo

Was just 1 of those days unfortunately :(

Hardly ever agree with anything you say, but, I take my hat off and completely agree. People who think we have the divine right to go these places and win are extremely naive, players included

how about we just go there and pass to each other and have the occasional attack?

Not one person thinks we have a divine right to win......

Go to these places??? ITS CRYSTAL PALACE NOT THE BLOODY NOU CAMP

We could have at least made a fight out of it, we basically gave them the game

It wasn't so long ago that people on here were demanding an easy 3 points off Newcastle at home, atmosphere in the 1st half of that game proved to be. Point I'm making is there's no guarantees in this league. Today was woeful, let's back the team and management in the next game

The opposite of the Swansea game, they outfought us and Pullis out thought Malky.

We packed the midfield to win the battle, Pullis simply played two up front and hoofed balls up and over the top of the midfield, easy as that.

Declan John got done for the goal and on numerous other occasions and Caulker and Turner were bullied by Jerome and Chamakh and Puncheon.

An easy win for Palace and they deserved it.

A shocking performance, I was really surprised to see Caulker and Turner look so weak against Palaces attack ?

A big game for us and Malky now at hone to WBA on Saturday !!!

The players need to get a f*cking grip. You can't just blame the manager but 6 wins in 27 is terrible.

His inexperience is showing, three seasons in and he is in the majors, a lot of good managers never get the chance.

He is learning in front of our eyes, an apprentice against experienced hardened pro's.

He got away with his tactics last year as we had a good squad in relation to the opposition, but in the premier, we are lacking any intent to hurt the opposition.

His (our) problem is that the owner is not here for the journey he wants more and if it was a business Malkys would go.

Two months ago we may have won that as Hollaway was out of his depth, sadly Pulis isn't !!!!!

On the TV coverage he looked rattled almost scared, sorry he probably needed a few more seasons at Watford.

A big decision for Tan, I wait...........

Totally agree, sacking Malky would be a huge mistake right now.

However he does need a kick up the arse, his tactics today were awful. Campbell and Cornelius need to start together against WBA

It's the first game I have ever wLkedout of early - travelled 160 miles and paid £32 for a ticket

Worst performance I have ever seen and the first time I have ever had sympathy with those who want MALKY out

Really really piss poor performance

Re: " AWFUL, TERRIBLE, CLUELESS, NO DESIRE 'BUT' . . . . "

Sat Dec 07, 2013 6:12 pm

Annis I like Malky and keep trying so hard to support him but he is not learning and is being so naive it's hard to keep supporting him. He built this squad, he has spent around 40m + and looking at all the player we have who can't get in the squad the wage bill must be huge.

He is far to defensive and we don't need to go all out attack but we do need to try and win games.

The biggest frustration is that last season we lacked upfront and needed more pace in the team. We spend bug money and it hadn't been rectified other than signing cornelius who he just keeps saying potential about, and I'm afraid that's not good enough.
I do believe he deserves more time but if he is replaced I won't be losing any sleep over it.

oh look its not malkys fault ffs annis change the f*cking record

Re: " AWFUL, TERRIBLE, CLUELESS, NO DESIRE 'BUT' . . . . "

Sat Dec 07, 2013 6:26 pm

Following on from the stoke performance that was just as bad. Why on earth does malky persist in playing this one up top system. It will never work. Campbell just ain't a) big enough and b) just not good enough at this level to play that role. The blame stops with malky. It's his tactics that are the problem.

Im beginning to wonder if malky has all ready given up on his position as manager, or there's been a big falling out between him and the players. Something doesn't seem right. I know hes been under pressure from VT, but all managers are under pressure from above, i got a feeling that theres a lot more to it than just tan meddling. Today was horrendous, seemed like the players couldnt give a fuk, and malkys head is somewhere else.

Annis, Malky is responsible for this team. He has had the money to build and he has no excuse. That is how businesses work.

You have been saying that Tan wants Malky out. Well sadly Malky has given him the ammunition to sack him. While other teams seem to be getting a grip with this season we seem to be going backwards. When you look at our signings they are just worrying. Caulker perhaps is holding up but the rest are falling away. Even Medal is playing like we are still in the championship. His experience should be rubbing onto our survivors from the championship not the other way round. Lets not think about those signings we have hardly seen like Brayford and Cornelious because they remind us of previous seasons like Miller and Maynard. No Malkys signing have been on the whole not up to it.

If Malky is here for January I will be gobsmacked. Its becoming clear we need better to survive now. Can you see Tan giving Malky the money to strengthen. I can't.

Fans pay good money to follow city and it wasn't about losing it was the way we lost. clueless display from malky and the team again..

annis, I have supported malky all along, but can you really honestly think hes the right man for the job?? he haven't changed his formation hes like dave jones, but malkys sticks with a 5ft lone striker and play hoof the ball in the air to him, that makes sense :? in my opinon dave jones would be doing better with the squad we got! the attacking midfield players we got: wingie, noone, bellers, mutch, whitts, kim. we payed 11 millions pounds for medel to stop breaks n counters, so why the hell are we playin defensive football. id say we could play a pretty good attacking game with the midfielders we have and also have the defence to back us up if we get caught out!

I'm with you 100% on this. We are one of the 8 worst teams in this league, but there are still 4 teams below us. Whenever we have had a bad performance in Malky's reign, we have always played well in the next home game. Let's hope he can do it again next week :malky:
