Malkys last chance today

Sat Dec 07, 2013 8:01 am

Unless we get 3 points today I fear Malky will be sacked tonight. We all know it's rather when than if now so let's hope he sets the team up to attack cos the Stoke game was shocking. How much longer have we got to hear excuses for shit performances? Come Malky let's go for it and go out fighting.

Todays excuse:

Palace have a new manager which gave them extra motivation.

It certainly feels it could be his last game.

This tension cannot be helping hence why the performance at Stoke was a defensive one.

We've had the excuses of 'we didn't expect anything from such a top side' or ' any away point is good' which I agree with but we are now playing teams that are in our so called mini league yet still we are defensive. I don't want Malky sacked but just want him to have a go. 3 points today and nothing less.

Is this a serious post? This is the permier league and we are putting up a great fight so far. After all years in lower divisions you should love the fact we are 15th in permier league and have a manager who is proud of the club......

Sack Malky and bring in some name no thanks. These players love Malky....fact is permier league is full of class and we will struggle for a number of years even if we stay up

Is your post serious? Where in my post did I say sack Malky? We all know it's only a matter of time. All I'm saying I'd like us to attack sides like Stoke and Palace. Some of our best football this yr is when we've attacked teams. Read the post properly.

Failure to win today makes it 1 win in 9.

Good enough?

We would all want the 3 points but a draw won't a bad result

I certainly don't believe that he will be sacked if we lose & will be happy as Larry with an away point in the Prem!
Let's hope we win & we never find out!
Saying that, it is a BIG game for City today.

and many others ive seen....

The wind played its toll today.
The subs are not fit enough to come on.
We got a point what more do you want ( vs a team at the bottom)
Playing five central midfielders next to eachother stops the other team playing ( best one ive seen so far)
Marshall should have saved that one goal they scored ( after 20 shots on our goal and hes pulled off seven good saves from them 20 before the goal)
We sit deep so we can break fast on the attack ( no flair or real speed to break clearly )

Whilst I think todays game is big,I dont believe Malky will be sacked if we lose.We would all agree that most of the football is painful to watch, survival was the byeword before the season began, all of a sudden fans are demanding wins and attacking football.I dont yhink the squad is good enough at present for all out attack, because like it or not, most teams in this league can tear us open with fast counter attacking football. On a personal note,I have waited an absolute age to watch top flight football, and am enjoying the ride, its better than any theme park ride!! 1 goal difference in 17th will do me this year, everything else will be a bonus! I thought we were too defensive last season for the players we had, and got lucky in lots of games as far as i could see.. This season malky is even more negative..i think he is petrified of losing heavily to anyone in this league, not just the so called big boys. I just hope malky makes me eat my words today..

Win your home games they say, we've had a stinking home schedule, give Malky a break lads, support him, by the end of February im confident we will be a happy set of supporters as long as Malky is backed by the fans as well as the hierachy.

We just have not got any cutting edge at the moment we really look out of depth a couple of players can make all the differance
