Would you take 0-0 at Palace

Fri Dec 06, 2013 8:10 pm

I would not take 0 - 0 for the game with Palace in fact IMO opinion a poor performance will be the begining of the end for MM.

I expect Malky to go for it and Cardiff to score goals.

NO, if MM sets up like the other night then i will switch off untill the games over and look for result because i will feel like scratching my eyes out watching it again. If we dont go for it vs the team bottom of the league then what hope we got :ayatollah:

Yes. We'll go up a place in the league and take away one of Palace's best chances for a win.

I'll be there cheering them on and backing our top, top manager -any result except defeat will be fine.

Palace could be above us in two games time, from rock bottom last month

How will we go up a place are all the teams above and below us going to lose ?

It wouldn't be the end of the world. As long as we don't lose.

Win tomorrow and win next week would be great.

Look at the fixtures...

West Ham at Liverpool
Stoke H to Chelsea
Norwich at West Brom

Can't see them picking up points.

Up above Stoke after that lot if we draw - and out of the bottom 6.

if we go out and attack a good win puts us above Hull

or a good win puts us above Hull so lets go out and attack away from home for a change

Win would be lovely of course, but you asked if a 0-0 would be OK and IMHO yes it would. Doesn't damage us, but big blow for Palace.

I can't see us winning by 3 to go above Hull -although they will most likely be turned over on Mon by the JBs.

Not good enough as it would be 4 away games on the trot without scoring and it would be 8 out of 15 games we would not have scored in.
I believe no less than a win tomorrow otherwise Malky will be under severe pressure from his highness tan and I if we lost I would not be surprised if Malky is gone this time tomorrow.
Might seem harsh but I believe tan is looking for any excuse to remove him.

No. 3rd lowest goals scored in premier, absolutely shocking.

I would be generally worried and concerned for this team if we fail to score again away from home. that will be 3 away games running

I said I was happy with 4-6 points from Stoke and Palace, so I would only take a win.

Palace will be expecting us to be setup defensively, we could really surprise them, and all of us, by playing attacking formation and putting them on back foot from the start. Lets got for it malky :malky:

You attack you score goals and then you have a better chance of 3 points or even 1 point, todays result has been brewing since Fulham away

Stoke and Norwich winning makes it worse, but i bet there are a few more who would be happy with a point at palace now. Maybe also it puts our draw at Stoke into context that they can beat Chelsea 3 days later ?

People keep banging on about Stoke beating Chelsea. Each game is different. Stoke were awful against us and we should have beaten them easily

And WHY were Stoke awful ?

Could it have been because we strangled the life out of them, harrassed them, tackled, chased, fought, followed, etc..

Perhaps Malky's big mistake yesterday was not sticking to that approach against palace and bringing the lightweight and ineffective Kimbo in to try and attack more.

2 teams in a football match - it's wrong to assume that Stoke were rubbish against us and that the reason for that was just down to their own making. They have shown for years they are a tough side on their own patch and it was a good point, just like it would have been a good point yesterday.
