I still can't stand playing in red.
I've only enjoyed 5 games this season, city, Everton, Fulham, Swansea and united.
Expensive tickets to go away and no atmosphere at most of the grounds.
It was a better crack in the championship and league 1.
I'm praying for a lower league or non league team away in the fa cup draw on Sunday.

Loving it mate, Don't want to go down to that shitty league again!
Thu Dec 05, 2013 5:35 pm
Great that you want the best for your team, not your social life
Thu Dec 05, 2013 5:35 pm
Not at all, I am actually very much the opposite, I am enjoying Premier League football and hope that is the case for many years to come.
Maybe we have different thoughts and feelings what make a football day a good one but whatever it is I am doing and expecting from my football is working for me
Thu Dec 05, 2013 5:38 pm
Im enjoying it coz it seemed so long in coming, but something is not quite there......dont know if its the colour.....the league.....the fact i cant get to away games anymore.....im getting old......dont know....but i did enjoy the first few years in the championship more.

Not at all. I hate the red kit too but this season has been much more enjoyable than last season.

Agreed, went last night, and to be honest I was bored out of my brains, the atmosphere was shit, and as for the game,I ve seen better standard down my local park

Have to agree. Hate red, hate the infighting regarding the colour change. We are playing in the best league in the world but last night it was one of the worst games I have ever seen in over 50 years watching my beloved Bluebirds.
Going forward we were poor. Passing was abysmal first touch the last few games has given the ball away far too often.
However team spirit remains high and challenges are 100% when needed. Staying in this division remains Malky's priority hence 10 men behind the ball but last night Stoke were there for the taking a bit of pace frightened them to death. We took Campbell off and brought on another mid field player?
If we manage to stay up I for one will be very pleased, but if we fail by one or two points we may all look back on last night and say "Only if we believed a little bit more"
Roll on Saturday I'll be there supporting Malky and the team110%

It's OK, but something is missing. The PL is not all that it's hyped up to be, and certainly not the be all and end all. A mate of mine is from Blackburn, and supports them. Or, at least, used to. He says that he can't get used to them being in the Championship. I wonder how many of our fans will stick around if, or when, we get relegated? At the end of the day it's about Cardiff City, not the opposition.

Dont hate the season but OP has a point. No rhythym to the season at all, No home/away alternate games and seemingly weeks between home games. No night kick offs at home. Away tickets a pain in the arse.
Thu Dec 05, 2013 8:55 pm
a few people i know agree... best thing for everyone is for us and the jacks to get relegated this season. i prefer the championship crack its a great league these days

Can't think about going back to that championship
Empty seats everywhere!
Loving the prem experience personally....

Bored of Prem? No
Bored of Malkys anti football? Yes

I'm not bored of the premier league and the I have been genuinely surprised by the jump in standard between the championship and the premier league. At the end of the day I'm a football fan and it's good to see the top players perform their trade.
I am completely fed up with the off field bollocks mind. I suspect that this what other posters are describing as 'something missing'.
I think we are all being worn down by red/blue and what crazy schemes tan may think of next.

It wasn't awful but I must say I didn't enjoy it as much as previous seasons, for obvious reasons.

I still dont get it. Last season we won almost every home match (in red). This season we have hardly won any home matches (in red). Why is it better? If the red isnt bothering you this season i fail to see how you could not have enjoyed our title winning season. O well each to their own i guess.

The red isn't bothering me, it's f*cking torturing me. It's a disgrace that the majority of city fans were happy to sell our souls for this.

Sell out crowds every game, brilliant atmospheres, playing against the top teams in the best league in the world, beating the Jacks, beating Man City, last minute equalizer against Man United... this is all new to us (other than beating the Jacks

) and I'm loving it.
Of course we were winning week in week out last season in the Championship, but it wasn't "exciting" til about April when we were a couple wins away from promotion. After 10 years in the Championship it just got a bit boring.

A good thread.
I don't know why, but I feel a bit of a passenger, not involved.
Its Christmas soon and I have only been down there 7 times this season. Perhaps its my boycott of the club shop or not checking the website.
I doubt if its the red or Malkys tactics. Perhaps the journey was more fun than the destination.
Sun Dec 08, 2013 5:17 pm
Well the way it's looking you won't be after this season .
Sun Dec 08, 2013 6:33 pm
For me it's always been the thrill of the chase & the dream of playing the big boys, the same as Dell Boy & his "This time next year we'll be millionares" & when he became that millionare felt the chase was over.
Sun Dec 08, 2013 7:14 pm
i personally think its great. Not just for our club, but also for the city and catchment area as a whole. Praying we manage to stay up for atleast a few seasons. Im hoping we keep progressing on and off the field, close to 40thousand fans down the city cheering us on in the premier league will be a dream come true, when the expansion on our stadium is completed and if we manage to establish ourselves in the top flight.

Protested, but sadly the majority of city fans didn't want to know.
