Cardiff are expected to welcome back Craig Bellamy from a hamstring complaint.

Left-back Andrew Taylor is also fit again but faces a battle to dislodge teenager Declan John.

Malky Mackay heads to South London desperate for an away win which will lift his team further from trouble.

He is hoping stars Andrew Taylor and Craig Bellamy can recover from their respective injuries so that he can have a full squad to pick from.

Of Bellamy, the manager said: “He suffered a tightness in him hamstring and we decided to leave him behind. But he will be right for the weekend.”

Left back Taylor was replaced by Declan John at Stoke and will struggle to get back into Mackay's starting 11 at Palace, after the excellent show from the teenager.


The manager said: “He had a fitness test yesterday and just failed it. We will assess him again before Saturday but John was immense. He came through with flying colours.”




Malky has no injuries from last nights draw at Stoke City

Taylor will be assessed tomorrow again ready for Palace away.

The players have been absolutely shocking so far. You can slag off Malky for his tactics all you like, but individual errors have cost us so far in this match and are continuing to do so.

Yep 20minutes gone and we have crossed in to there half once as a WHOLE TEAM and that was in the 1st 30 seconds with a campbell header lets blame the players for sitting on there own box and smashing it up to nobody bar there defenders or goalie since then

What's happened to Gary Medel. Takes the sting out of everything we do. The only thing that pisses me off about our team is him
