Before our recent exploits in the transfer market who would have believed we would have smashed our transfer record 3 times and spent £11m on a defensive midfielder and £8.5m on a central defender. Furthermore, Malky has always said that he will only buy players who improve our squad and as Andrew Taylor is currently in the top 30 EA Sports Ratings for defenders and about 6th for left backs, a player of Moreno's quality would be required as an improvement on Taylor. Malky also likes to keep a core squad of players and not make huge changes, so we have continuity and good team spirit. I think a winger or two, 1 central defender and 1 more striker will be all we will buy between the January and summer transfer windows, but I expect a few more records. The only other likely purchases will be for the future like Moore.

I did say Moore is for the future and Moreno is an attack minded left back who can also play on the left wing. His dribbling skills are rated as very strong. He has the potential to be a future Gareth Bale.

It's not as simple as 'let's get a winger' is it? He's got to have more qualities that malky likes for him to put a bid in for him. He's building from the back and working his way up, which I believe is the right way.
