Selfish Drivers....

Thu Dec 05, 2013 12:09 pm

People who selfishly ignore the safety of other road users, due to the lack of patience they possess.
Like this fucktard who couldn't be arsed waiting anymore on the heavy queue on the forth road bridge so he turned around.

Someone stopped in front of me on the slip road to m4 in Bridgend because they took wrong turn. I watched them trying to reverse up slip road. They gave up after a few near misses

Sorry I just can't believe people can be that stupid! I know british drivers can have a reputation but fooking hell! Made me chuckle, obviously hope no one was hurt.

I was joining the M4 at Port Talbot just as the jacks convoy was going past last month and the police were blocking the slip roads until they had passed, I was unaware of this until i came round the round about to take the slip road on, and some dozy bitch was reversing off, nearly went straight into the back of her, I had my lad in the car too i was raging! I waited less than a minute!

Must just be me!!!!

Wonder if the 28 yr old female driver of this coach found it funny?

image.jpg

Mmmm I know the driver and passenger in the wreckage behind didn't find it funny, because they died.
Yet it was their selfishness and lack of patience that lead to this accident.
And that 28yr old woman who was just doing her job is now living with the emotional and physical scars with the rest of her life.

Maybe it's my job or the fact that in recent years my mother and sister have almost been killed by two separate acts recklessness on our roads that I have maximum respect for the road, and do not find this funny.

But by all mean laugh it up boys.

I don't find it funny people getting hurt or killed, just that people are stupid enough to do something so unbelievable like that.

Can't imagine they would be.. A car wouldn't travel fast enough against a flow of heavy traffic to cause that much damage to a coach.

then i fair to see the point in bringing the second accident into it :?

Seeing how the husband of the female driver in the second pic took the first pic and both pics display acts of recklessness and no consideration for other roads users I would say the link was pretty strong to be honest.

no. the second is a horrible accident

the first, as far as i can see and by your description was someone doing a theee point turn in traffic. hardly that dangerous considering the build up of cars there.

Not sure why you are trying to sensationalise the first by showing us the second. Everyone is aware that horrible accidents can occur on the road.

Re: Selfish Drivers....

Accident?

Mate I know the girl very well and she was not in an accident.if you have been injured and there is blame then that is no accident. And when you consider the driver of the van was overtaking 5 cars southbound on the A9 and side swiped the on coming coach.... No it was no accident.

So the two pictures aren't linked then, as you're trying to imply?

Your second post suggested that the actions of the first post were the second post. Pretty low.

Silly thing to do, but I do find it funny that some people are this incredibly stupid to do something like that.

Unless he was deliberately aiming to cause that damage, it was nothing more than a tragic accident.

fucks sake im not going to feel humble for every accident on the road, idf never get anything done! it must have been horrible for her, i cant imagine and i pray to god im never in that situation as i really dont know how id deal with it.

But all thats got nothing to do with your original post which to be fair, looks rather mundane from the photo provided.

The problem is not exclusive to the roads thats just where its easiest to see it. People live in their own little bubble where things effect them, outside of that bubble where other people could be affected well...... A lot of prople really dont give a f**k about that! Why should they it doesent affect them does it. Its sad but that seems to be where a lot of society has ended up.

Re: Selfish Drivers....

Pretty Low? Barry I'm highlighting the fact that both were caused by reckless behaviour.
I did not suggest that B was a result of A.
I merely pointed out that's it's not a laughing matter.

And quite frankly if you enter the oncoming carriageway and attempt to overtake a series of vehicles approaching a blind corner then yes you are deliberately putting lives at risk.

Anyone who knows the A 9 at Ralia area will testify to that.
