Will mutch be with us in a years time

Thu Dec 05, 2013 9:19 am

Anyone else think Mutch could be on his way soon enough?

I think the way hes improving as each month goes by in this league he could be snapped up. Definitely still lots to improve on, but think he is showing that hes a premiership player.

with him being a Mids lad, i can see Villa/WBA sniffing around, poss teams like west ham and newcastle.

Id think that he could grow into a Brenda type of player at liverpool.

If we go down i think hes gone. Also think it might turn out to be difficult to keep hold of him next summer.

I dont think so... He is doing a job at the minute and shows his potential pedigree with his passing and goals but top players do this every game every season. Easily replacable players like mutch are 10 a penny in the premier league, decent players who can put in a shift

Decent player but not a top ten side player at the moment - most of those sides have better. I like his work rate, but he still seems a bit lightweight and tires towards the end of games.

Think it will take longer than a year to be honest.

But since he is british, for whatever reason you pay more. So clubs will take hom before hes the finished article, its cheaper and they can bring him on themselves. Just what i think. i think offers will be made for him if we go down.

Interesting as he has not received that much plaudits from the pundits or anywhere apart from our own club.

So it is questionable if anyone has really even had their eye on him at all but he is becoming a key player and growing in his game.

Has huge potential but lacks consistency, he has the talent, can be a good passer, has the height and can actually go past players. Needs to bring it all together though and do it consistently and that's not easy. Potential at the moment.

Don't forget he's only 21, will definitely be in the Premier League for the next ten years - hopefully with us.

I agree its potential, but potential is alot cheaper than a polished player. Especially british

HES GOOD, BUT NOT SPECIAL, SHOULD IMPROVE DUE TO HIS AGE. THERE IS NO ONE IN OUR MIDFIELD THAT CAN CONTROL A MATCH.. I THINK WE MISSED THE BARGAIN IN THE SUMMER ........TOM HUDDLESTONE. HE MAKES THE GAME LOOK A BREEZE.
