Palace Team

Who would be your team for the Palace game? John impressed so do you think he will be added again?

Depends on whether Taylor is fit or not and whether Taylor has learned to keep his hands down by his side, when we're defending free kicks! ;) :)

Go at them from the start , give us a look at cornelius .
Medel patrolling behind the midfield ,mutch using his range of passing to supply the strikers/ wingers whilst Bellars and odemwingie run there asses off out wide supplying crosses for big corner :ayatollah:

--------------------Marshall-------------------

Catherine----caulker-----turner---- John

--------------------- medel-------------------

Odemwingie------- mutch---------bellamy

------------ Campbell--- cornelius-----------

Whitts was shit at stoke has been poor most of the season IMO needs to be dropped for a game

We won't create fk all with cowie there. Noone has come on twice and looked like he could change the dynamics of our attack so get the lad out there and let's start having faith in ourselves and attack more

Noone instead of Bellamy for me

Re: Palace Team

I'm afraid Malky will be thinking - "must not lose in our mini league" - so caution will be the watchword to start.

I just hope we don't give 2 f*cking pens away again like last year - awful afternoon

Do like the eagle and the Crystals mind

Anyone know of a local pub City fans would be welcome in?

This team for me, a lot leaving whitts out of their teams  can't really see how we can afford to IMO

Kimbo on for Bellers 2nd half when he's fooked :thumbright:

--------------Marshall-------------
Ktc----Faulkner----turner-----john/taylor
-----------------medel--------------

---------------Campbell----------------

Could play Cowie ahead of whitts to add more defensive cover with an attacking formation. Bring whites on later depending how the game goes

Re: Palace Team

I fully expect the team to be exactly the same one that started last night unless Taylor is fit in which case he will replace Declan John.

I also expect us to approach the game in exactly the same way that we did last night and no doubt the game will be as dull as last night's game was.

We are certainly hard work to watch at the moment!

Who's Faulkner? And why would anyone in their right mind want Cowie? It really frustrates me why Malky picks him. He's not premier league, in fact I don't think he's championship level, hard working yes, we need a bit more cutting edge in midfield and have the players, but Malky prefers to leave them sitting on the bench.

Meant to be caulker mate auto spell on phone. Know what your saying milky sets up not to lose. But surely he has to play a more attacking formation sometime. If not away then surely at home when we are playing one of the other teams in our mini league?

I really believe we have the ability to win comfortably against these teams if we get at them.

Agree, like I said we have the players to go for it. Time for Malky to cut the shackles and go for the 3 points against Palace.

Not sure what everyone's fascination is with 4-4-2 it's been dead in the premier league for near on ten years you'll get overrun in midfield and will concede more often agree with the fact we need to use wingers! Play like we did against united with actual wide men and we will create far more opportunities as we will stretch them out noone on the left for me and cowie or pow on the right with Campbell up top and 30 mins for Cornelius then to see what he can do medel whitts and Mitchum in centre beast midfield balance we can get with current squad IMO Bellamy be much more of an impact from the bench as well
