The villa way

Malky is clearly trying to emulate villas performance away today when we are on the road unfortunately we haven't got the pace through midfield to do it

Villa played the perfect counter attacking football today, soaked up pressure all game having only 23% possession defended as well as we can BUT the difference is they broke with extreme pace, 2/3 passes and 50 yards later the ball is in the net

This is malky style as well we just don't have the midfield pace to counter attack efficiently that's why I agree with most and would like to see us play the same formation but using proper wide men who will cause teams problems and give them something to think about we done it against united and arsenal and I think wingers are Malkys top priority January if recent speculation is anything to go by anyways!

Montero and nooney on the wings would add a while new dimension to our play IMO pace and direct football will always cause teams problems regardless of how goods they are
