I don't honestly remember a City team ever playing a worse style of football than what we do now. I swear I'd be more entertained watching Wales.

Just defend deep and counter attack (always down the middle).
Whittingham is a complete luxury. His dead balls are abysmal. Never beats the first man and is struggling to even strike the ball properly. Kimbo or Gunnar for me.

Don't think I saw more than 4 consecutive touches. Clearly 1 up front isn't working. You would have thought Cornelius surely would have been ideal against a physical team like Stoke. Only saw one solitary good point. Thought Declan played well. Didn't look out of place and his late effort was great. Taylor no doubt will have him sadly warming his arse on the bench again though.

Watched Palarse yesterday. They looked alright. No doubt that Tony will whip them into shape.

Yes thats all fine and dandy, but we were poor. Forget who we played and where we played...we were poor. Noone stood out today as particularly good, they all stood out as particularly poor...except Marshall of course. Not being neg, just giving a realistic opinion on the game.

Ok then. We clearly can keep hold of the ball, and we can also pass it. Secondly, Whittingham is not a luxury. If we'd won then you'd be saying no such thing. 'His dead balls are abysmal'? Of course they are

'Taylor no doubt will have him sadly warming his arse on the bench again though'. Why 'sadly'? Taylor is patently a better player (he is much older and much more experienced, of course), though John has played well when he has played.

I didn't say we weren't poor, but a point is a point away from home, and why forget who and where we played Stoke's home record is very good
