From what I saw (managed to catch the last 30mins), the result was justified. Piss awful game mind.

Agreed, any points away from home is a bonus. But seeing Stoke play so shite, I thought we could've atleast used that advantage and went on to win the game.

These type of performance will always be accepted if we are grabbing points, will they if we stay in season 2?

Where as we can be pleased with an away point, you can bet that Stoke will be peed off at not getting 3. I'd be quite happy with a boring 0-0 on Saturday too for the same reason.

We've got a draw at 3 of our likely relegation rivals in Stoke, Norwich and Hull, and we won at Fulham. That's the sort of form which can keep you in this league. :malky:

Stoke were awful and there for the taking, a point gained yes, but surely we have to be a bit more ambitious against teams as poor as Stoke if we are to proper in this league. It just seems as if Malky had made his mind up that all we were there for was a point, no matter how poor the opposition was. Saying that it worked for him last year

Point away good but they were there for taking. Second half we started to look dangerous. Campbell had them rattled and we take him off, what a waste of time. Go in for the kill and put somebody up front with him FFs.
Again I have to say cowie is a fkin waste of a shirt the sooner he gets an u jury the better it's the only way he will be left out!
Got all time in world for Malky but we need to start believing in ourselves more and play attacking. Noone has to start and if bellars come on to we could have broken them.

Great point away from home, Stoke got the second best home defensive record in the league got to be happy with a point :ayatollah:

Awfull game. Stoke were shit but again we put 5 central midfielders in the middle. No Noone who would of made an impact. Campbell should of never have gone off. Good city support but we was very quiet. To cold and to bored I thinks.

We need to be more aggressive upfront it's time to drop Peter Odemwingie unfortunately he's not effective in our current setup. Cornelius deserves more pitch time with Noone on the wing, we need quality crosses. Medal, Mutch and Whitts will battle in midfield.

Still can't understand why an £8 million pound striker remains on the bench. If he's not fit, why is he named as a sub, and if he is fit but not quite up to match fitness, how will he get there if he remains on the bench all the time.

I think we are better than stoke and should of took it to them we have the potential to bombard teams like stoke,,

it seems our manager doesnt have the confidence in us and we have an away niggle that needs fixing FAST

Great support from you wishing an injury on one our players! A valuable point away from home with a solid performance. Cowie scapegoat again! Tbh he's been one of our most consistent performers this season. You obviously don't much about footy

Below is how I would have lined up and would line up on Saturday. I know Cornelius would be a bit of a risk, but surely against crystal palace we've got to drop the negative playing for a draw style of play and take the game to them ourselves.

Even if Taylor is fit, I would play John - he offers far more going forward and is decent defensively. I'd move Cornelius up top with Campbell behind, but otherwise I like the look of that line up.
