Of course he rates him. But the guy has been injured for a long time and Malky suddenly starting him every game as some patently want him to do would be disastrous. The club paid a lot of money for him, and they need to be careful. His match-fitness needs to be built up steadily.

Yes but how can he gain fitness if he don't play ???? 5 mins against Man Utd is hardly buliding up fitness is it ?

He can get his fitness by being rested and training. :?

What I'm saying is that he can't be expected to play the bulk of games from the start just after returning from injury. Give him 20-30 minutes here and there.

I didn't say that he was playing him :? I'm advocating what he should do.

This is getting a bit predictable now, every time Malky wastes money its rumoured it isn't his signing.

Feckin danish player of the year, plus top young talent award,of course cos he aint playing yet he must be shit.ffs give him some time before jumping the gun, on whether he will be shit,or quite possibly an astute signing! Of course if he turns out to be awesome some of the same posters questioning his ability, will be singing his praises, and malkys!! I despair at some of our fans constant negativity, I really do.

Re: Does Malky not rate Cornelius ?

ridiculous, the reason he was in this predicament was because he rushed him through a slight injury to play accrington which made it 50 times worse in the first place!? bloody hell we're 14 games in he'll get plenty of game time. on the other hand i saw velikonja in tesco yesterday, so he;s still alive! god knows what hes doing though!

Re: Does Malky not rate Cornelius ?

The usual Malky apologists out in force.

FFS if he isnt fit enough to come off the bench for the last 10 minutes then there is no point in him being on the bench.

If he is fit enough it begs the question why pay 8.5m and not even use the c**t off the bench for the last 10 minutes when we had 2 spare substitutions and the game was crying out to be won ffs!!!!!

i agree he should have come on minimum 75-80 yday

Re: Does Malky not rate Cornelius ?

Malky want's to play 5 in midfield therefore only 1 up front and Campbell's the first choice at the moment, that could change if we go 442 but given the quality of some of the premiership midfields don't hold your breath.
