Check your Cards and see if you have a code 78(I think it is)on your entitlements.
This means you can only operate Automatic vehicles.
From January the 1st you will be able to drive Manual without the need to set a test.
But you must send your cards back to the DVLA to have the code removed first.
If you do not and are caught without a correct license you will lose your right to drive as well as your job and could well face a custodial sentence.
