That's why he moved to Swansea - even cheaper than on Merseyside.

Man of the match last night. Another fantastic goal too.

You have to admit, 65% possession and 3-0 against a Newcastle side that have won 4 on the bounce is impressive. This is without Bony and Michu. Not to mention Rangel.

Played well from what I understand last night, but let himself down with the head butt & subsequent comments.

He's either excellent or awful - rather bizarre player. In fact only time I saw him live, he was totally awful. Think I'd want a bit more consistency for that sort of money.

Re: jonjo shelvey

He's only a kid. He'll mellow out with age.He comes from a travelers background so he's not the sharpest tool and has a travelers temperament too on occasions. On his day though and used offensively, he's some player.

He was crap against you but that's 1 game in 38.He's got better and better since then and we haven't really missed Michu with Shelvey more attacking.

I thought you always saw possession as a defensive quality roathy? So judging by that were you defensive for most of the match last night and got lucky?

How the ref can claim that the handball "wasnt intentional" when it stopped Remy equalising I dont know.

We was excellent last night and back to our best.Superb in possession Quick sharp passing and a few goals to boot.I was there, i saw the game, don't listen to the press who so wanted Newcastle to continue their 'great form'.Alan Shearer,Michael Owen giving their incredible bias opinions ffs. You'd think they were Geordie legends or something. There was 1 or 2 dubious decisions (handballs) but asides from that we were head and shoulders above Newcastle and made them look shite.

Shelvey comes from a travellers background and has a temperament to match?

Are Swansea adopting a similar recruitment policy as Rangers&Celtic where they only buy their own kind

The ref didn't give it and it leveled out the hideous bad luck we've had with refs in the last few games. We were due a favorable decision

To the guy who called me Roathy, I am not the same person.

Any comments regarding the derby - yawn. You beat us, well done. Blah blah.

Pardew says they should have had 2 penalties. The handball appeal on Ben was 50/50 and you've seen them given. He didn't move his arm to the ball though, like Pardew said. It was ball to hand.

The other one where he says Ash was fouling their player, that happens all the time in every game. No chance that's a penalty.

We've had some truly awful decisions go against us so it was about time we had something go for us.

As I said, a superb win against one of the most in form sides in the league.

Good news

This, from the BBC website

"Swansea midfielder Jonjo Shelvey will face no action from the Football Association after appearing to motion to headbutt Newcastle defender Mathieu Debuchy.

The incident occurred shortly before Shelvey (pictured celebrating) scored the home side's third goal in their 3-0 win over the Magpies at the Liberty Stadium.

The former Liverpool player exchanged words with Debuchy and, as they took part in a heated stand-off, Shelvey seemed to move his head towards the Frenchman's, although he did not appear to make contact."

Speaking to BT Sport after the game.

Re: jonjo shelvey

He made no contact with Debuchy.Just simulated a headbutt,Fair play to Debuchy for not flinching which probably saved Jonjo. Some players would have collapsed at that point. No contact is why the FA have let it go,It's the whinging 'in form' Geordies who can't believe they were outclassed and are clutching to every straw available. The record books will show Swans 3 Newcastle 0.

Ok roathy. I won't say nothing. Just don't mention Leon Britton and you may get away with it.
