thats heavy news. Be strong and fight this horrendous disease. Even if it has spread it can be stopped so dont let it get you down....

How are you Rob?, Steve ok? Biggest challenge ive ever had! So stressfull

I don't know you at all but I wish you all the best and I'll remember you in prayer. A truly awful thing to go through but I believe you can beat it.

Been through this with my dad for the past 18 months, horrible times but its amazing what can be achieved these days, my Dad is clear now, medical staff are so relaxed about these issues, emergency appointments in 3 weeks time, don't call us well call you and all that.
Stay strong, ask questions and seek assurance but never give up, this horrible disease is loosing its fight, Everyone on this board will be wishing the best for you, look forward to you telling us that everything is sorted.

It is an awful thing Cobra but you will be OK. It affected someone very close to me but these days it is eminently treatable - I have total admiration for the amazing oncology consultants who make this happen. The person I mentioned is now 12 years in remission and fit and healthy like it never happened. Its good to have some positive people around you too. Carry on as normal as you can though the treatment and as said, you'll be fine. As another poster said quite wisely, its good to ask lots of questions and also keep on top of things with your consultant. You will get through it and we all wish you well and a speedy recovery.

Never give up mate! fight it and win again, never met you but can honestly say you have the support of every Cardiff fan!

Keep positive and fight hard! Trust the specialists and you will get through this no problems at all pal!

Try and Be positive, both my mother and a friend of mine were in the same position 9 years ago and they are both well in remission.

We have come a long way in the last 20 years but its because of research funding.When you see collections for cancer research please donate, or give a little of your time in one of their shops, i know my daughter has found it rewarding and usefull.

Sorry to hear your bad news.but believe me you can beat this!! I know from personal experience(testicular cancer) but that was seven years ago now! PMA is a must against this evil disease.ask about everything that concerns you and you should have help from macmillan nurse.I found being able to talk to mine whenever i needed invaluable at times.good luck and my best wishes in your fight mate.
