Thought DJ did a great job for us. Not the most charismatic and he had his faults, but at the time, he was the clubs most successful manager in years.

Jimmy Scoular, didnt do fist pumps,or the ayahtollah and we the fans sang his name..

or me........its still very bitter..as i said in another thread..the day he arrived we had less than 3000 ST holders..the day he left over 17000..........no doubt some fool will explain this away.........but to me its testiment of what a good job he did.. if anything he rose expectations to a level,at the time the club was not capable of..............his very last transfer window,he had 100k to get cover for JB...imagine he had been allowed to sign a player of frazier Cambells quality instead of red rum.
