stewards at it again

the stewards at the enterance to 106 were again causing problems, when i went to walk through i showed my season ticket to the woman, then a second steward grabbed my ticket and the third pulled me back. Is this normal behaviour or are they there to help? has anyone else had problems here?

I really don't get this. My mate was told he didn't have to have a photo on his season ticket but wouldn't be alowed to go away. So the photo is only for away games so they shouldn't be checking our photos at home games.

different stewards every game.. they are doing as told, its who is telling them is the problem. ticket checked twice again yesterday, and it isnt to direct you to seat either , because they dont.

The bloke who was covering 106 the last few seasons is now having to work outside the stadium because the club have employed a seperate security firm to work inside the ground.

The new stewards inside the ground would appear to be mainly sour faced jobsworths who seem to take some sort of pleasure from checking tickets or cards at every opportunity.

Why I have to show my card to some clown on the way to my seat when I've already shown it to someone at the foot of the steps I'm not sure. Perhaps they think I'm incapable of finding the same seat I've been sitting in since the new stadium opened.

No. Never have had any problems with the stewards in this area. Always polite and helpful. But I have seen many fans uncooperative with them saying things like "why do I have to show my ticket again" or trying to push past without showing their ticket, mostly with a prejudiced attitude towards them.

whats needed is stability with the stewards... every season gone by there has been the same stewards on 106...built up a decent relationship with them, shake hands on the way in and a bit of banter...

this season ive seen different stewards on 106 every home game... once at 1 game i was asked to see my ticket 4 times! by the same girl!!! i said how many times do you want to see it, i just showed it to you a few mins ago... some jumped up prick beside her went on to say he will ask to see it 20 times if he feels like... and if i dont like it to leave

This! Got used to it.. They are always friendly, just standard procedure!

They have no right to put there hands on you unless you give them good reason to, even then it cannot be used as an aggressive force, only a restraint.

If they've grabbed your hand holding your season ticket and then pulled you backwards then that's common assault and is an offence.
