Stoke away -our biggest midweek league following for years ?

Sun Dec 01, 2013 4:33 pm

Struggling to think of us taking over 2000 to a night league game for some time.

Watford and Peterborough don't count as they were afternoon kick offs

Have we sold the full 2200 yet ?

Wasn't sure if I would get tickets this time around so got a couple directly with Stoke. Looking forward to the game and hopefully 3 points :malky:

So, you are in the Stoke end ?

Might be worth ringing the club (CCFC) tomorrow and asking for a swap.

Wasn't mid week. I was there, it was a Saturday in november, and that was the second half so it was dark...

Yep it was the season we lost to them in the play offs, drew 1-1 I think

Think that was about 1600 ish.

2-1 win Bothroyd scored the winner. Turner played for Cov and had Bothroyd in his pocket for most of the game, then JB nicked a late winner.

That was one game when Jay went to the end and wanted to win.
I remember the look on his face when he celebrated the winner(must have been close to 90th minute).
If only he had showed that desire consistently.

Aye clone his talent with Cowie's attitude and we'd have a world class player on our hands :laughing6:

Well he's gone now and it's all too late ( and for him a real shame)but he won't be the first or the last player to not be quite top level material

It's a very big game, three points would take a bit of pressure off :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :malky:
