Few people mentioned EON have done the same

Check your statements estimated and actual mate sounds iffy

Switch to meter as well much better I actually think I've saved money since going on a prepaid meter

Have been with them for few years now..couple of years ago I started writing my weekly usage for gas and electric on calender every Sunday and it has stopped me getting stupid bills .

In October I rang to see what the cheapest deal they could offer me was... I switched to an online 12 month price freeze dropping my gas from £62 to £37 a month based on my previous years usage. Two weeks later I get letter sayimg my new direct debit is £5 a month, so I go online to rectify this then get another letter saying that due to price rises(I am on a price fix deal agreed before said rises) my new debit is £64 a month.. Unbelievable.. Went online again to change direct again and waiting to see what happens on its due date :?: :?:

Stay well clear of this company,we got stung for about 15 months, did'nt get a bill off them for about 12 mths then slammed us,changed to 'first utility' bills are regular and explained in more detail.Npower were very unhelpful when dealing with them.

Went to "Utility Warehouse" earlier this year and they 'assessed' my usage and halved my gas/electric bills FOR THE FIRST MONTH before it reverted "on review" back to where it was before I signed up!

Phoned my previous supplier (British gas) and they put my old deals back in place AND gave me a £100 'credit' as a thank you for going back to them

Hard lesson learned ;) :ayatollah:
