I cannot believe we have such an intelligent young exciting manager at our helm and shit like this is in the media

Even if we went down i'de still want Malky here, he's young, he will learn, and will bring us back up (IF we got relegated)

I'm a massive fan of Malky, and it'll stay that way

this story just will not go away though.
ive always thought the time to change, if your going to,is mid December, it gives the incoming manager 3 or 4 games to assess what he has got..and needs....with a transfer window a few weeks away.....
i dont think this is purely a will he wont he sack Malky thing either.NONE of us really know how happy Malky is.

I think Tan is done with Malky, but he has hit his first real problem (imo)

Tan suggested the rebrand, promised that it would help marketing, he would turn debt into equity, build a new state of the art training ground, expand the stadium and invest in the squad. All he wanted in return was a red kit and a new badge (this is what we were told)
He got his wish, as a lot of Cardiff fans accepted this as a small price to pay for such a vast sum of money sunk into the club. There would always be opposition, but he would get enough support for it to justify pushing the plans through.

Malky on the other hand, is hugely loved by all! Be it red, blue, old fans, new fans, neutrals, the players, backroom staff, most likely even board members.
His record with us is awesome. He built a very good championship squad with barely any funds in his first year, he took us to Wembley (although it has become a second home to us  ) and we SHOULD have won that game (f*cking Kenny Miller and Anthony Gerrard!)
Then he took us to the promised land. Not only were we promoted, but we stormed the league, winning the title comfortably.
In his (and out) debut season in the PL we have already had a rollercoaster ride. We've shown we arent here to make up the numbers, and we've taken major points of big teams, and would have a few more (if it wasnt for some slight bad luck - I refer to Spurs at home mainly)

All this for basically what is, a brand new manager who has built everything himself is phenominal! And shows how sensible and lucrative our boss is, and how much he has learnt, and how much potential that brings.
He has good friends in high places, and will only get better.

I read the other day that Malky's cautious approach to our PL campaign, although seen as negative by many, is the right one to take. Survival is the key, and I believe he has made some errors, overall his plans to survive are correct. He looks like he wants to start slow and build, much like Stoke, WBA and dare I say, Swansea (although their rise through the ranks was pretty quick, but they bought and hired well - that we cannot deny)

I've been quiet on Tan, only stating my opinions on his actions - positives are his investments, where I have given praise, negatives being Moody, the approach to the rebrand ect. ect.

Sacking Malky will turn me massively towards the Tan Out campaign. He could sack Malky and bring in Hiddink, Mancini, Ancelotti or whoever, I don't care, I personally want Malky here, I want him to progress and earn his silverware and honours as CCFC manager, because I believe he will be a top 4 club manager in the future.

Back him, invest, and we could be that big club! (Maybe not top 4... but you get the idea, he will progress us)

Our loss will Certainly be another clubs gain. And a decision that could come back to haunt us.

IMWT :malky:

Yes it is.

You happy with Caulker? with Medel? I bet you are. Did Hudson or Gunnarson deserve to lose their place after the part they played in promotion? Probably not but theres no time for sentiment in football, you have to be ruthless as Malky said himself after Burnley.

Tan upgrading Malky to a coach like Hiddink would be the same difference as Malky upgrading his players for better ones.

I think it's to do with the rebrand that plays a part in this, any drastic decisions made by tan can let one off.
I love Malky but agree with Polo on this! Nobody is bigger than the club! It's not the end of the world if Malky goes (providing we get a quality manager such as Guus Hiddink). However I am very happy with Malky around :malky:

You can't compare a change in manager to a change in players on the pitch!

The manager decides HOW the team plays, who is signed, who does what job, how to handle the media, how to run the training sessions... Ect. I could go on

I'm v happy with the signings our manager has made,

And I do believe there is room for sentiment in football. Look at SAF, he had a poor start to his Utd career, and look where he ended up. That's the commitment I want us to give to Malky, for all the reasons above

Re: LOOK WHOS FAVOURITE FOR THE MANAGERS JOB

Fri Nov 29, 2013 11:07 am

And Guus Hiddink and Ancelotti cannot do any of that can they?

Malky can only dream of achieving what they have in the game ffs.

We have no chance of landing a manager like that anyway so its all hyperthetical bullshit but I find it laughable to claim you would want Tan out for replacing him with one of the best managers in the world?

If he sacks him and replaces him with Dennis Wise fair enough, Ill be over the fence with you but Ancelotti and Hiddink?

As for Fergie, football was a different game 25 years ago when Untied backed him. Ridiculous comparison.

A more current example is Southampton.

Did Nigel Adkins deserve the chop after TWO succesive promotions and holding his own in the Premiership? A man if similair class and integrity as Malky? Absolutely not.

Were Southampton fans angry and outraged at the decision? Absolutely. They were up in arms.

If Southampton fans were offered to swap Pochettino back for Nigel Adkins, what do you think they would say? Nigel who?

Harsh but true.

Many of your points are as hypothetical as my own.

I gave Hiddink and Ancelotti as over exaggerated examples.

You have NO idea what Malky is capable of. I believe he has the potential to manage a top 4 club, which means he would be managing in European games too.

But your crystal ball only see's malkys future in a pessimistic light.

All ifs and buts. I don't like how Malky has been treated. I want him to stay, and that's my point. I gave all my reasons why already, and all you can do is pick some over the top examples I have for arguments sake.

You see the future as dim for our manager
I see a bright future. No point in arguing further as we'll just keep going in circles
