Stoke away

I know we've got Arsenal first, but just looking ahead.

Looking forward to this one, first mid-week game of the season.

I think we're two evenly matched sides. Stoke are different under Hughes, not so much long throws and long punts up field. They've got some very good, proven players in Crouch, Walters and Etherington. Charlie Adam will be a threat with his set-pieces too.

In defence, Shawcross and Huth is a half-decent centre-back pairing. Although Huth got injured last weekend, Andy Wilkinson is a good replacement. Wilson Palacios in midfield is a player I rate too. While Asmir Begovic is largely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the division.

For us, I hope Cornelius and Campbell have a period playing together - think they can cause some real damage.

Prediction for me is 2-1 City, Campbell and Mutch

Anyway, who's going? I'll be there, should be a good day. Normally a good atmosphere there too.
