Even though I know most of the sarcastic responses will be  I feel I have to say what im feeling before I crack.

Cardiff City AFC thats what we were when I started watching the Bluebirds, yes many on here know im only 24 but have been going since I was 6 years old and as I got older started going away and having the best days of my life following Cardiff with a top bunch of lads and other travelling fans.
Just looking through this bored makes me sick, people accepting the red, wanting the red in return for premier league football and having a go at people for wanting tan out, the mans a lunatic. He doesnt give a shit about anyone but himself and has turned some of the most loyal fans ccfc has had over the years away...but feel feel its ok just to say  good riddance. Its more than football, Cardiff used to be a day out, away from all the stress of day to day life and out with the boys drinking and then watching the bluebirds.
Its very difficult to express words on here. For the last 5-6 years alot of people have felt the city has changed and going down hill, then the death of Mikey (RIP) stopped our away outings that we had a scream on, then turning to red, losing NP, old bill stopping any freedom. Everything down there has changed far to much. City fans arguing over something they should be united against, red i mean come on guys f*cking red, bristol city? Its mental how the whole place hasnt errupted and tan hasnt been removed. They were the best days of my life following Cardiff I can honestly say I dont think I ever will again, which kills me, but its just not the same.
To be honest I dont even know if half of this makes sence to most of you, its just sad looking through this bored bickering, arguing, acusations. This should be the greatest time in Cardiff's history instead Man u play in blue and we play in red on sunday. Fans who expect us to do well this year, want Malky out when we lose or even draw. Just shows how everything has changed. We used to lose to shit teams and go and have a drink and laugh about it, now we are holding are own in the pl and some people want malky out because are football inst attractive... really?

It is so so sad what has happened to our club, everyone has their right to an opinion but I just cant get over how much things have changed. Thats my rant over... RIP Cardiff City AFC

Modern football mate, you'll always have your fickle fans. Ill support Cardiff whatever happens as it's all I've ever known and that will never change. Malky is the right man for us and i think we'll only get better under him.

Can understand what you mean, I felt the same for ages and I agree it's not the same as it used to be, but that's just football as a whole now. It's aimed at a totally different level of class now. Before it was working class, now I think it's more of a middle class game. Fans are priced out and I can't see it changing sadly, just got to adapt to it.

Read your post and quite honestly think it's another "all about me post" yes your match day experience has changed in your 18 years but it has radically changed in my 45 years since I first stood on the terraces of Ninian Park as a child.
But hopefully I can see the bigger picture. thousands of new fans young and old watching the City, thousands from outside the UK watching the City. Top flight football instead of the rubbish we endured for years with no light at the end of the tunnel. Yes Blue is my colour but it's not about me. It's about Cardiff City AFC and they are in a better position now than in any time during your eighteen years or my forty five!

Thats fair enough, its not all about me though, there are many of my friends who have stopped going who have gone for years and years and followed city for 30 years plus home and away who feel the same

Same here, but everyone's different. I'm still in hope that one day we'll go back to blue, but I can't turn my back on them.

football has changed.and it changed for other clubs and their fans years ago, we are catching up, the top clubs started building all seater stadia immediately the taylor report came out after the disaster in sheffield. in effect initially it reduced the size of the grounds even old trafford was down to forty odd thousand...it created a demand which drove prices up and the working class out. then came sky tv with its millions which in turn attracted foreign investment. thats where we are now too we are becoming one of the big clubs..modern football.new to us not new to the likes of man u and chelsea.
i have loved my times over the years, had great fun myself, and many mates like yours have stopped some over the move from NP..some over the rebrand..some because they couldny afford STs...i know its a bitter pill, but those times are not coming back..just enjoy the memories coz had you supported a prem side from day one, youd have missed them..
tan will not be here forever..maybe we will get our blue back .but the next owner will most likely be another foreign investor, and those days you relished are never coming back.
they say be careful what you wish for. and at some point we all wished for a mega rich owner and top flight football, and thats what we got
