Steve Borley has confirmed the following.


" The roof will start to come off immediately after the Liverpool home game." (March 2014)

" So that'll leave three home games.. Crystal Palace, Stoke & Chelsea, without a roof in the Ninian Stand "

So it will only be three games with no roof?

Will it still go ahead if relegation is imminent?

They've already started work so I guess yes, I dont think it would be left especially as payments would have been made and schedules etc

Really sorry for giving a shit about the identity of our club!a blue stadium with a section of red seats will look bizzare in my opinion!great we are extending the plans look great!I remember the days at Ninian with just a few tho turning up how times have changed!every fuckers sick of hearing about the re-brand but you can't hide from the fact it's an important issue!sorry for staying true and being blue!

I think about 33K with the Ninian expansion

A few more games like last weekend, and the roof won't need removing as we will have raised it ourselves. Great atmosphere.

Looking on the plans you'd hope that your seat isn't underneath the gap of the two roofs. Looks like those fans within that gap will be open to all the elements

The only stand I'd rather not have two tiers is the Canton, instead they should extend the stand. Noise would great from that end when everybody will still be together

It will be just our luck if it hammers down during the weeks it takes to complete the expansion...

Palace & Stoke games are away anyway so I don't know why someone mentioned those games. If it is going to start after the Arsenal game, that only leaves us without a roof over Ninian for the WBA game, surely?

I'm sure we have Stoke on the 4th, Palace on 7th (both aways)
Then we play West Brom on the 14th at home before playing against Liverpool away the week after, isn't that right?

Would have preferred black because it would look better (than red) and would be easier to leave when we return to blue. But then if we can play in red with blue seats we can play in blue with red seats.
