xbox one/ps4

did anyone pick up the new xbox one ? or are you holding out for the ps4?

I picked up the Xbox One. I've only played a couple of hours on it but I can tell already it's a great machine!

I got Battlefield 4, Dead Rising 3 and FIFA 14.

my mate who I work with got new xbox he loves it cause its all entertainment and not just games, I went xbox first last gen but this time ps4 because its cheaper and I got psplus and a ps vita and they doing remote play with ps4 and vita, I will end up getting xbox one in about 3 years or so then

Yea, I got a Vita. I think I'll get a PS4 late next year or something.

Get the Xbox One if you prefer TV, social media etc. But get the Ps4 if you just prefer pure gaming.

spot on, I like both xbox and playstation, xbox better for entertainment but I think playstation got the better games, ive seen both first hand and the xbox is not as bad as people thought it would be its actually a clever device and im surprised how good the voice function really is but by god its f*cking huge the console itself lol

Xbox have mastered the online multiplayer experience. Playstation is still ways behind in that aspect.

Unless you've got a pre-order then you can forget getting a PS4 until February. I got my pre-order back in January so I'm in the first wave, which means this Friday. There's a second wave that sold out a while back and that will get you a PS4 before Christmas, but they don't know exactly when.

Then there's the 3rd wave which I think you can still buy. That's all the 3rd wave pre-order will get you is a console sometime after Christmas, possibly as far away as March.

I got this info on the weekend in Game because I was thinking about selling my pre-order and just getting one in the New Year. But since it's not that simple I'm keeping the pre-order for this Friday.

If you haven't got a pre-order and your kid as just asked Santa for a PS4 then it's Jingle all the Way for you.

probably know they are in demand and some places wont hardly get any new consoles in after crimbo, always see some chancer take advantage
