Serious Question
After last year saying the Premier League is not as good as it used to be now your here and estabilished in the prem do you still think its a poor league?.

I don't remember anyone saying it was a "poor league" - but I stand by my remarks that it certainly isn't as strong as it used to be. You only have to look at United yesterday to show that.
How many of those players are truly world class? I know they had one or two injuries, but that was never a problem for United in the past.

There's no doubting it's a good league, but not sure if it's as strong as it was 5/10 years or so ago?
We really shouldn't be able to beat Man City or be able to take a point of the best team in modern times.
Also, let's not forget both results were no flukes, they were fully deserved.

The PL no longer has the best clubs in the world, they're in Germany and Spain. But it's still a top league and definitely the most entertaining league in the world. The difference is, in Germay and Spain they only have 2 top clubs capable of winning the title. The PL has at least 4 this year, possibly more.

Well, we have beaten your lot, Fulham and Man City, drawn with Everton, and still not played any team outside the top ten at home yet.
Considering all the jacks telling us we are going to get battered by everyone, I think we are doing okay.
I don't recall anyone saying it was a poor league though ?

To be fair though others can't I can certainly remember 1 or 2 expressing that view on here and although Manu are clearly in transition I wouldn't use them as a yardstick to measure the strength of the PL.I suppose the real yardstick will be the success or otherwise of the clubs in europe.

Thanks for your comments however I think its a good time to be in the Prem, as if we can stay up for a few years we will become a fixture of this league and therefore the clubs can grow, hey in five years we could both be top four teams, now there's a dream.

i dont want to turn this into a Cardiff v Swansea thread, but i cant see anyway you will be a top four team! (i cant see us doing it either in the interest of balance!)
im not trying to be offensive for the sake of rivalry, but swansea are a small club. A small club who are punching above their weight thanks to being well run and well managed. I cant see you getting more sucsessful than you are currently.

Fair comment but you have to dream don't you 10 years ago I didn't think we would have a club, and 22 years ago was the first time I saw Cardiff play at ninian park I was just happy to be going to a football match never mind who you were playing.
