Well, Well, f*cking Well

Sun Nov 24, 2013 7:27 pm

All these wankers, Tonteg Bluebird especially, saying we cant attack and open up against teams and yet we do that against the champs and get a point.

Said it all season any muppet who thinks sitting on our 18 yard line will keep us up is a tool. Good sides will break you down eventually but if you have a go and give them something to think about it changes their mind set.

Well done the lads and Malky for finally having a go, lets hope more the same for rest of season.

Touché! I can't remember us being so open for while. Confidence builder.

Shame we didn't keep the first half tempo because we really caused them problems and the score line flattered them, probably running out of steam second half which wouldn't have helped but I thought united just kept the ball second half which obviously broke the game down a bit but we kept attacking and it worked, they looked dangerous on counter then but that's what happens when u go for it

A great point that could well be huge as the season draws on

Theo had another good game, noone was direct when he got the ball and fair play for him winning the freekick that led to the goal! good fiery game loved every minute of it.

I was in the ninian next to the away fans and fair play loudest fans so far this season

My post regarding formation other day wasn't far off the money either we definately played with more width than I've see. All season and if your going to attack teams you have to get to the byline, thought cowrie and pow traced back well and played much wider instead of ticking in all the time which only created more space for Mutch and whitts which was exactly what we needed to do

Yeah saw that I guess I meant when united had it they seems content to sit on the 2-1 lead

We defo used he ball better and for me that was down to using the 4-5-1 with actual wingers rather than them tucking in all the time, Taylor and theopile got forward more as well as a consequence of them

Thought nooone showed that he still hasn't something to offer us aswell

I was surprised how Malky set us out today. Push higher up, shorter passing and more movement was refreshing to see. Plus the introduction of Noone was positive. I hope we start playing like this against the sides in and around us.

Agree, but not with noone. It's his first game for us at this level against the champions, he'll get better with game time

I think malky is smarter than people gives him credit for and to me it's no coincidence that we played differently today

I honestly believe he feels we have nothing to lose against the better teams like I also said he studies teams in depth he knew united use the wings and Taylor and theo wouldn't cope without help so credit for playing the wingers as wingers rather than the usual tucking in

I believe you'll see the same style against arsenal but I fully expect us to be back to setting up not to lose against stoke and more hoofball as you would say polo

Cos malky knows points against the likes of stoke are what we need to stay up

That's his mentality IMO nobody expects us to beat united or arsenal

f**k the hoofball Smakerz.

if we go that positice against the lower table teams we will do ok.

If he started with a team closer to that against villa we may have had a chance.

I wouldn't say so.
Praising someone when they do well is just normal isn't it?

Great performance and so positive. Campbell has been isolated for weeks but the support he recieved today was very pleasing. Odemwingie can play in the hole and out wide both well

Jordan Mutch's through ball for the equaliser was world class. Overall we were the better side and matched them in every department. Noone, Cornelius and Kim were all excellent substitutions at the right time.

Bring on the gunners!

polo has done nothing but slag malky off, few weeks ago he wanted him out.

wonder if he feels the same after that result..

Re: Well, Well, f*cking Well

Nobody has stated the obvious - United were 4-4-2 which allowed Malky to change our approach. It won't be like that against Arsenal.

Re: Well, Well, f*cking Well

Sun Nov 24, 2013 8:24 pm

100% I admire the fact that when we clawed it back to 1-1 we didn't sit back like we would have a few months ago. Refreshing to see, shows what we can do.

Hope Malky lets the players have a go when we play the weaker sides in the league.

Re: Well, Well, f*cking Well

Sun Nov 24, 2013 8:29 pm

Moving Whitts infield and the emergence of Mutch has given us a nice Spine with Medel as a safety net.

Peter O is never going to be a left sided player, and Cowie in a great defensively

How is it fickle Norris?

Ive slagged him off for being mind numbingly negative camping 11 men in our defensive third.

Today he did what ive been saying all along and give the oppo something to think about.

long may it continue

Spot on wasn't i, he will not open up in games we need points in he will continue to play to draw and nick wins it's boring but it's effective in picking up points he sees this as a point gained and not lost but I'd liked to have seen us have a go at them as like I said they were there for the taking!

Lets talk after Saturdays result. If we win then its a decent point tonight.

Just watching the game on Match Choice. Its a struggle I must admit. The only positive is Stoke look as toothless in attack as us.
