Great result and performance

Cracking result and a very open, upbeat performance. One or two basic errors aside (Turner and Medel for the goals), we defended when we had to and attacked very well. Nice to see Nooney get a game, and Cornelius get minutes also.

Very encouraging stuff. Why can't we play that openly that every week?

Campbell, Theo and Mutch were superb.

1st half especially, very good. Contributed a lot more than the likes of odemwingie who was poor today.

Cowie was excellent today mate. Some of the positions he took up in between the man u midfield were superb. He always offered himself and as always his energy levels were off the scale.

I would add that Cowie was missing in action again - he played well at the start of the season but he's gone missing so much lately... I'd have Bellers on that right wing all day long...

I thought he played OK today, was surprised when he was subbed for Noone, though it was the correct decision given how Noone played thereafter.
