Froch would have won that round even if it wasnt stopped and on the score card he was 1 point behind so the round win would have evened up the score card. Froch was getting stronger in the fight which was evident when Groves dropped his guard in round 6. The referee is one of the best, you can say the fight was ended too early but another punch from Froch could have seriously injured Groves he was wobbling and his defence was non-existent at the time.

However Groves had an amazing fight and shown he can fight with the best and I see a very bright future for the lad and he will have those titles sooner rather than later

I can see the rematch, Froch wont knock him out but Groves still has a lot to learn if he wants to go 12 rounds with him, that will be Froch's game plan now he knows he will tire after the 6th and Froch can dominate, which IMO would have happened here had the fight continued

do you remember eubank v watson?watson prob 6 or more rounds up,knocks eubank down who then got up and returned the knockdown.watson was allowed to box on.how much damage that caused is open to debate but the result was michael watson in a wheelchair.do you want to see that happen again?

i like groves but give froch credit for keeping going.carl froch is a man who pulled a win off with 14secs of a fight to go when behind on points.froch has been a great champ.groves can be too

I wanted stay a neutral fan because I am a big fan of both froch and groves, but this result as left a bitter taste, I cant argue with fact froch was coming on strong and could of got the stoppage but groves deserved not to be stopped like that, that's worse than the first enzo mac v McKenzie fight. the way froch acted was the biggest disappointment for me though, could tell groves tried to say sorry for build up no hard feelings but froch wanted none of it and gave him a f*cking lecture on respect and don't give me wrong I hate trash talking before fights but after the fight is over it should be left alone but froch came across as a bit of a prick and that's not easy for me to say

yes he should have been a bit more gracious.there again despite his win he is left with a lot more questions than gg .gg can get fitter ,learn not to trade with people like froch.carl froch looked like a man who knows his time is coming to a end.i hope he knocks it on the head

i listened on the radio.seemed gg 2 rounds up to me.couple very close.the last round froch would have had so it would have been tight /level if he had given a count.thought gg tiring.gg time will come.superb boxer.i was made up when he beat degale

i will have to see it properly before i can say he was robbed.i knew he would give froch problems .gg is a far better boxer.froch has a chin of granite and a heart the size of a dustbin lid.if the fight was stopped correctly then he wasnt robbed .sounds like he was running out of gas to me.it wont be the first time a champ has been outboxed then come back and won.i like groves tho.thought he was a bit disrespectful before the fight tbh.there again froch did it to joe.i hate hearing tbh.
