A forum for all things Cardiff City

Alright fellas your team for Sunday please
Mine
United will play with width and I don't think our current 4-5-1 system (very narrow no wingers) will cope
I'd go for 4-5-1 like so
GK- marshall
RB- KTC
CB- caulker
CB- turner
LB - Taylor
DM- medel
RW- POW
CM- Mutch
CM- whitts
LW- Bellamy arguably his best position
CF- Cornelius
Width with this defensively solid with wingers tracking back medel pulling strings and the big Dane given a chance to build ball up and bring people into play also if successful on wings we got a target in the box or likewise target for hoofball as polo would call it
Can't see us gettin anything playing narrower and we have played narrow all season with Bellamy and other midfielder tucking in more than going for the byline, I honestly feel if we attack there LB and right back and whip balls in we can score and get something Sunday cos vidic is a doubt Ferdinand is shite and I think jones will be at CB for them with Evans also a doubt
We can frustrate RVP and Rooney easily also as medel can keep Rooney in his pocket and RVP dealt with by caulker and Big Ben
I think had Cornelius not been injured this would be Malkys preferred system
Could use noone instead of pow but I'd rather play pow as he has the tools at this level where as doubts still surround noone and this is too big a game to risk him
Chuckles if you read this refrain from commenting cos you'll turn this thread sour thanks!

Never mind that whats yoir position on the rebrand?
This is a really tough call. We obviously need to keep things tight but i fear they have to much quality for us.
Still Cardiff v man utd in the premier league! Ffs!!!!!

It won't make a difference to our tactics, what formation we say we are playing,we all know its 10 men behind ball, then hoof it upfield as often as possible
