Dont think we are even represented on the union flag. Im happy to be seen as a welsh "brit", but the Y Ddraig Goch flag takes priority over the union flag for me

It's an interesting one, but I don't think they'll end up voting yes.

I'd like to know how they'd cope though.

Owain, Ive really studied everything about this, as I love politics, they would suffer badly if they left the UK.

Anyone who claims they're "Welsh not British" are in denial.

Didn't even see Owain's post either, I knew it wouldn't take long for someone to say it

We would if we charged for our water. ;)
The English flooded our towns for water, let them pay us for it they wanted it so much.

Part of me wants the Jocks and Northern Irish to go. I'd be happy enough in a country called England and Wales. As long as we kept our national football team. That's as far as my Welshness goes, these days.

What the Jocks do is up to them, of course, but the SNP have got a cheek wanting to still be part of our £ sterling!

Wales would not survive five minutes as an independent country. We would need the Germans to bail us out, like the Republic of Ireland. Come to think of it, we helped bail out the Irish too, nearly a century after they got independence.

Proud to be Welsh and British.

The Welsh not British brigade need to give their heads a good wobble, more than likely your fathers or grandfathers fought and some died under the British flag while protecting this great island from Nazis so you could be free today

The butchers apron do NOT! represent my country, the flag of St David is not on there , so why should I look at that rag as my flag ? I have one, Y Ddraig Goch , The Red Dragon , Also the flag of Dewi Sant.

you do have a choice in how you see yourself.and maybe, one day a choice at the ballot box, as with scotland.
the day after the ballot up there.those who see themselves as scottish will still do,and those that see themselves as brittsh also will still do.......no matter what the result is

Re: union jack

Nothing against the Union Jack or people being proud to be British. However we all know that unfortunately the flag has been hijacked by the far right. The reason the Jacks fly the flag is not because they are proud to be British it's because they are a bunch of soft cocks and feel the need to suck up to Ulster Unionists, far right groups and other football fans with these political persuasions because of their own insecurities and inferiority complex.

Would be sad to see this at Cardiff. We are better than that.

It's ironic that you hate the British so much yet the dragon flag you have as your pic is actually the Royal flag, first used by the Tudors. You are possibly the biggest clown on this forum with your racist nationalist bullshit.
