Are the club really 'frantically changing' all the signs/advertising, as suggested by 'Latest News', or simply just making planned changes to advertising space in the usual pre arranged and planned manner they always do.
The main protaganists on this board make it sound like there is mass panic within the club, when realistically I think it's safe to assume that the clubs major sponsor would have notified the club of any planned changes to their logos and advertising collateral well in advance of the date they were going to be changed and released. If I was paying £3 million for sponsorship, i think I'd be sure to keep my advertising partners well informed of any changes so that changes can be coordinated effectively.
The only reason there would be any mad rush, is if there was a coordinated release date for new branding and logistically the advertising material has only just been supplied to the club. The club would still have known about the planned changes beforehand however, unless the Malaysian Tourist board are not doing their job effectively.
The colour of Visit Malaysias advertising logo also has nothing to do with Tan's choice of colour change. This should be patently obvious from the fact the Malaysian Tourist Board did not even sponsor us when Tan made the colour change. Tan just paid for Malaysia to be emplazoned on shirts and the stadium himself last season.
If you actually look at the Malaysian Tourist boards historical advertising and logos they have actually never been predominantly red and always had a strong blue theme. In fact it looks like the advertising on the Cardiff shirts was more designed to fit in with the red and not visa versa.
https://www.google.co.uk/search?safe=ac ... =isch&um=1I hate the blue and it's patently clear that much of the reasoning given by tan for the colour change are red herrings, but it's probably not fair to make out Tan/the club have cocked up and are in a panic in this instance, when they are simply updating advertising space as they would if any other changes were required.
Always good to exagerate things to fuel debate and strengthen the anti Tan agenda however.
If there's any doubt, I'd be more than happy if Tan had made a huge boob and that this causes major embarrassment, but I really don't think this is much of a story unfortunately.
