' Google ' " Visit Malaysia 2014 "

Thu Nov 21, 2013 10:27 pm

Visit Malaysia have rebranded from red to Blue for 2014 (google 'Visit Malaysia 2014 logo' to see it)

So with the Malaysia PM and other Malaysia dignitaries flying in for the Man United game this weekend, the club are frantically changing as much of the inside signage as possibleFrom Nigel Harris on FB.

Yes it's ironic..I saw the logos at the SLO meeting Monday...I wonder if this will make Tan have a rethink? I doubt it but stranger things do happen.

Tan is looking beyond Malaysia.

Does this mean we will play in blue

Hang on, I thought we lost our colours because red was essential to the S.E Asian market!?

More evidence of what fools we've been!

How do you have access to such personal thoughts of Tan?

I will say again, I want our Identity back and I detest the Red/Badge and I do not respect Tan one bit.

The middle section of next season's kit hopefully :D

This can't be right, the colour blue symbolizes bad luck and death in Malaysia. We switched to red to tap into the Asian market and generate additional interest from Malaysia, as they won't buy the "unlucky" blue shirts there, they will only buy the "lucky" red shirts! This was Tan's vision...and what a load of bollocks it all was!!

This logo is a complete and utter disaster for Tan!!

Why are everyone suprised? The Malaysian national team play in blue? I thought Tan was looking to China for investment. Red is their colour.

I don't think it takes a genius to work that out :)

Well why not tell us all then, because whenever people suggest that a tan is probably looking at a name change, we are told that nobody can say this as nobody knows (despite Tan hinting several times in interviews)...

So how can someone have such knowledge when Tan talks to nobody?

I'm Tan's nephew. I have watched 2 or 3 games and I have purchased a DVD. My uncle says I am nearly ready to manage Cardiff. It's all about statistics the more we shoot the more we will score. That's what he says.

Don't be rude!

This has nothing to do with anything.

Cardiff play in red because Vincent Tan likes red, nothing more. Why you lot waste time discussing it in anyway is beyond me.

The logo proves that once again, Tan has lied to us. Our owner continuously dropping himself in it and being exposed as someone who isn't trustworthy should be a concern to any City fan who cares about their club surely?

He had to come up with something otherwise he'd sound like a tool... Well more of a tool anyway. His empty buzzword of marketability and all that crap got all the fans infighting and not focused enough to mount an actual response. This goes for both sides of this debate too I've spoken to BU people who say that we should be shown how the club has become more appealing in the Asian market.

It's got nothing to do with it'd, he himself likes red. End of.

Yes he probably changed to red because he likes the colour but to keep in with the political establishment in Malaysia tomorrow his favorite colour may become blue, stranger things have happened.

Could this be related to this article where the Malaysian government were accused of wasting funds on sponsoring us?

http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/foot ... ff-6107698

Or maybe being optimistic and tan has some pull on the Malaysian government and he's putting the wheels in motion to enable him to back track on the rebrand and revert us to blue?.......but it very much doubt it lol

Unbelievable that people still defend Tan and buy the ludicrous and discredited 'marketability' argument.

You've lost the club colours for nothing people. We've been made to look like total mugs from start to finish.

This actually may give us a glimmer of hope.
Tan has dug in his heels and is determined not to give into us over our demands to return to blue however he now has a perfect excuse to bring blue back and not to be seen as giving in to our demands. :ayatollah:

Strange thing though Annis is that when one of the Welsh tv channels did a documentary on Tan about a year ago they followed him around and filmed him taking off from the roof of a skyscraper in a personal helicopter that just happened to coloured blue. :ayatollah:
