Malky Mackay's increased security measures leave fitness coach locked in the car park
The Cardiff boss was keen to tighten up on unwanted visitors at the training ground, as Dutch coach Raymond Verheijen discovered
MirrorSport understands Dutch coach Verheijen was recently barred from entering the club's training HQ.
He was there to visit Bluebirds striker Craig Bellamy, who worked under Verheijen in Gary Speed's Wales set-up.
But the outspoken coach was not allowed into the premises at the Vale of Glamorgan and had to wait in the car park.
Boss Mackay is cutting no slack after ordering a crackdown on visitors who do not have an appointment.
New gates and fences were erected following promotion and a summer re-fit at Cardiff's training ground.
Now all visitors have to have a prior appointment to enter as a source close to Mackay explained.
The Bluebirds boss has been under intense scrutiny from the club's controversial owner Vincent Tan, who sacked Mackay's head of recruitment Iain Moody - now at Crystal Palace - last month and replaced him with rookie Alisher Apsalyamov.
