Fair play great comment, I have always thought Vorm is a great keeper and was influential in keeping you up that first season in the premier.

I have to say Marshall has suprised me, I underestimated him for quite some time, but I was wrong and he is a fantastic keeper, and I have met him a few times and he comes across as a really decent and well grounded man aswell :ayatollah:

Always rated Marshall, but never thought he would shine this well in the PL

In terms of shot stopping you are right. Marshall used to worry me from crosses but since we changed keeper coaches he has dramatically improved this area.

His only real downfall is his kicking which is not always accurate.

However there are not many keepers i'd swap him for.

He looks unbeatable at the moment apart from last week. He's earned you quite a few points this season and I can't think of a better keeper this season apart from maybe Lloris at Spurs.

In fairness there are a number of very good keepers. Mignolet is top quality as is Vorm. Lloris as you say is very good. De Gea has improved no end and Tim Krul is also excellent. I rate McGregor highly as well.

I would say that there are 8 or 9 keepers who all could be acclaimed as the best in the PL

Yep.But the amount of saves Marshall has had to make compared to the others you mention is quite significant.

In some respects it's easy to look good when you're in a team that lets quite so many shots on goal as we do. For the most part though they're little more than potshots an I'd expect most keepers worth their salt to save them

Marshall shows his class in the split second reaction saves for me.

Although the pundits have taken to talking about the best keepers being the ones that do buggerall but keep their concentration lately. Part of me wonders if that's just them trying to justify Hart as no.1 ahead of Forster to themselves though

He'll never get the recognition he deserves, infact I don't think i've read anything regarding his form.I don't really go looking though. If he was English I think he'd have been called up by now.

Any press about him has been negative as the journalists blame him for the Chelsea and Norwich goals while ignoring the 20 other saves he's made in those two matches alone

McGregor is rated more highly Than Marshall from most of the people I speak with up here.
