This Forum is happy to assist members unload home and/or away match tickets "at face value or less" where circumstances mean they are unable to attend

However, the selling of tickets "for profit" is a different matter and we believe is against the spirit of this Forum

That's how I do it, Denzil. I have an 'arrangement' with the people who sit next to me, as we both miss games for work reasons and I have to say it works very well

However, I guess there are circumstances where people would like their money back for different reasons and the Forum is a good place to do so, so long as it is done (as the thread says) "in the right spirit" and is not used as a 'market place' (which has happened recently on a couple of occasions)

True but when youre mates are man united,arsenal,Liverpool fans u ain't going to GIVE it to them
If it was going to be sold i wouldn't sell my ticket for £15 either on here like some people offered for Arsenal after ive paid £400 for a season ticket.

I was working on the assumption that the mates were Cardiff City fans! I paid nearly £500 for my ST, and £149 for the parking permit. Would never let, or sell, it to a fan of another club. Rather just make a loss.

Some mates are city fans who could not afford season tickets.............or like my son who had a season ticket for years.............but did not renew 3 years ago because he was playing himself on saturdays.

I have sold tickets on here ALL for face value or even cheaper than what i paid for them.

But its ok for any tom dick or harry to sell shit merchandise on here for profit?

My first game this season is on Sunday, my mate has used my st and I haven't asked for a penny. It's bought and paid for, if you can't go give it to your mate. BUT this is an open forum, surely if someone wants to extort money from a fellow bluebird they should be allowed to advertise on here so we can then abuse them

The resale of football tickets is illegal under The Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 (section 166). Your forum is actually breaking the law in allowing tickets to be resold, whether at a profit or otherwise
