Anyone recommend any good fishing places around Caerphilly areas?,ponds ideally,cheers

I'm sure people on here think nobody's heard of the Internet? Most people who ask such questions want someone who actually as done the things they ask? Anybody can Google questions. :mrgreen:

Can't you fish the lake at the castle?

Riverside in Llanbradach has 2 lakes one general lake (silver fish, breem, carp etc) often gets busy and a larger lake more specifically carp that has a god head of fish 10 - 15lb

Ive never fancied the Castle, but Riverside is ok for being less than 10 mins from Caerphilly :ayatollah:

Cheers,normally go up Billy's,just fancied a change,done seven oaks today,good pond full of carp,good sizes to,£7 for two rods,a good day

Yes,but don't fancy the castle,like the surroundings to be a bit quieter

Yep i do baz but mostly on here i get the biggest bites and whoppers on the hook with old bait :lol: :ayatollah:

Yes,but don't fancy the castle,like the surroundings to be a bit quieter

Agreed theres lots of traffic around areas of there and people walking by every one minute while many familys feed the ducks with there kids so not much peace there for no fucker :ayatollah:

Trefaldu is good for carp and course in Monmouth

Nice burger van on site as well
